1. New Mexico Dulcimer Association Club Jams
Come play music with us! The New Mexico Dulcimer Association started a club jam 08/19/203 for mountain and hammered dulcimers, as well as other acoustic instruments. Together, we’ll enjoy playing our favorites and learning new songs. All skill levels welcome, and anyone interested in dulcimers is encouraged to come and experience these instruments first-hand. Some instrument loaners will be available.

Club jam book (music notation, mountain dulcimer TAB, chords, playing tips - printed and bound in 3-ring binder) is available at your first club meeting for $10.00 to cover our costs if you want to take it with you.

2. Albuquerque Public Library Dulcimer mini-concerts/demonstrations
Irma Reeder created this program not only to give her students an opportunity for learning outside the classroom, but also to promote mountain dulcimers in the surrounding community. Sandia Mountain Dulcimers is joined by Scott Reeder who demonstrates the unique beauty of the hammered dulcimer (ScottandIrmaMusic.com ).

Skill Level FAQs. Regardless of your skill level, you can attend any workshops you want. Beginners can always learn something in an advanced workshop, same thing the other way around. We encourage you to take what you're interested in! Please note workshops will be taught at the advertised skill level.

David & Annette Lindsey
David & Annette Lindsey (Bennington, OK) - See bios here. David is an internationally recognized hammered dulcimer builder in traditional and contemporary designs, and they also sell mountain dulcimers and accessories. They will bring a limited number of instruments and accessories to sale at the event.
Activities will be held at our Venue in Albuquerque. Workshops will accommodate all player skill levels. Click here for the event schedule and workshop descriptions.
Prices: $20 one workshop, $30 two workshops, $40 three workshops, $10 concert; $50 for all activities (cash, check, or card paid to The New Mexico Dulcimer Association).
